Bridal Hair FAQ
How far in advance do I need to book my bridal hairstylist?
I recommend getting booked in atleast 12-18 months before your wedding date.
Do I need a trial?
Trials are optional but highly recommended. These are held on Mondays, Wednesdays & Thursdays from my home salon in Newport. Trials are not included in your bridal hair quote however my prices will be sent to you with your quote. Payment for the trial is due on the day it is carried out.
When do you recommend getting booked in for your trial?
I recommend your trial to take place around 2-6 months before your wedding date. Please get in contact at least 1 month before you are looking to get booked in as spaces fill up quickly. Upon booking your trial please state whether you'd just like to try 1 style or more.
Shall I bring anything to my trial?
Yes, please bring any hair accessories/ veils you would like to try. Don't worry if you haven't got any yet! I have a few we can try. Please also arrive with clean and dry hair.
It's a good idea to wear makeup and a top with a similar neckline to your dress to get a full picture of what it will look like on the day.
Can I bring anyone to my bridal trial?
I don't recommend bringing anyone to your trial as I would like to focus on just you to create your dream bridal hair. However if you feel you would like a second opinion on your chosen style, I do have one extra chair.
What time will you be leaving on my wedding day?
I will stay right up until you are about to walk down the aisle, making sure there is enough time for touch ups.
Should I wash my hair the day before the wedding?
Yes, please make sure your hair is washed the day before your wedding and your trial. Shampoo your hair thoroughly twice and only put conditioner on the ends. Please ensure your is is blow-dried after and not left to naturally dry.
